Extraordinary events need a special framework. Therefore, WebhostingDay does not take place in a standard convention center with standard furnishing. Instead, the attendants will be invited to Phantasialand in Bruehl near Cologne, where they will be able to explore whole new worlds. This begins in Old Berlin, where a small version of the German capital recreates the beginning of the 20th century. From there, one can easily reach Wild West and China Town, only to find oneself suddenly being Deep in Africa, just to visit formerly undetected places like Wuze Town in the next moment.

But despite the exotic surroundings, Phantasialand comfortably fulfils all requirements to hold a conference with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Phantasialand is closed to the public during WebhostingDay, therefore the whole location is exclusively available for the event.
Visitors, who stay at one of the Phantasialand hotels during the event, can just hand their baggage over to the WebhostingDay team after arrival. That way, they can enter the event location without having to make a detour over the hotel.

Beginning summer 2008, Phantasialand will have two hotels, which are located directly at the park. Both hotels will be reserved completely for WebhostingDay 2009. Thus, there will be a total of 295 single and double rooms exclusively at the visitors’ disposal.
Hotel Ling Bao has been open since 2003. The largest Chinese building outside of China is not only architecturally authentic, but its interior is also true to the original in detail. The four-star hotel Ling Bao meets the highest standards of accommodation.
In the new three-star-plus hotel Matamba, the guests can experience the excitement of Africa. All the hotel’s rooms and suites are situated facing the park. Restaurants, bars and conference rooms are included in among the hotel's amenities.
