From March 18 to 20, 2009, members of the Webhosting sector gathered for the fifth time at WebhostingDay – by now the largest event for the Webhosting industry world-wide. Top-class representatives from the most important IT and Telco companies from all over the world came to Phantasialand in Bruehl near Cologne to exchange about current developments in the hosting sector, and to tighten their networks.

With more than 2,000 attendees, even last year's record attendance has been exceeded again by about 80 percent. Additionally, about 30 percent more companies could be acquired as sponsors. This confirmed once again the very high and continually rising importance of the event. Because WebhostingDay is an event from the business for the business, focusing both on the exchange of know-how and on the maintaining of social and business contacts.
